"spreading properties"

is that correct ? Confused ...

This to say that the properties of an object are transmitted to another,
to the next object ?

thank you all.

Transitive properties (as mathematical transitivity property) may apply in your case?

thank you LocoDelAssembly

hummm ...

This should not express a property itself, but an action

like this... "There Is, in this case, a Spreading properties !" ..

(I would like to express the idea that this property "jumps over" ....)

Maybe you mean inheritance (properties and their behavior are inherited by objects derived from others)?

"are inherited" .... hummm ... no.

The object receives nothing, but gives certain powers to the objects that follow.

--> The idea is to involve the giver and not the one who receives.

So, adding new objects extends some kind of "catalog" of actions available from the "super-object"?

yeees Razz

back-slash is a "super-object" in wink
with "super powers", he can give these "super powers" to the following words
No ... it passes the existing powers behind him, forward ...
it transmits the properties of the rear, to forward

Maybe it's the way that you're structuring your sentences that makes "transitive" sound wrong. IMO, it seems to fit with what you're saying. Maybe it would look better if you wrote it like: "In this case, properties are transitive.", instead of: "There Is, in this case, a Spreading properties !".

One more thing, when using plural nouns, you don't use "a"("There Is, in this case, a Spreading properties !"). I hope I don't offend you, I'm just trying to help. Smile

Dude, none of that makes any sense. Plural means a noun that is more than one("films"), in which case, "a films by Tyler", would be wrong.

[aside] It is certainly possible to speak of a collection of individuals: persons unknown. It is also possible to speak of a single collection: a people removed. [/aside]

With regard to first question, I am confused. Yet, "transmute" comes to mind. It seems as if a 3rd party object is giving properties to a class of objects (1st) - creating another class of objects (2nd). The 2nd would inherit from the 1st?
