Is it possible that I need to download some SDK or DDK? How much would this program weigh? Is ASM-only soft possible?

I just received these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PC-Laptop-USB-Thermometer-Temperature-Recorder-104_W0QQitemZ180488472057QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a05f385f9
yesterday. I tested and they work. The software that came with it, allows me to monitor two devices from the same window, but not simultaneously.

I *think* it conforms to the USB-standard HID device because Windows automagically detected this as two interfaces:
USB Human Interface Device
USB\VID_1130&PID_660C&MI_00\6&274517B&0&0000

USB Human Interface Device
USB\VID_1130&PID_660C&MI_01\6&274517B&0&0001

Class 3 /subclass 1 / protocol 1

Uses hidclass.sys, hidparse.sys, hidusb.sys and hid.dll under Windows.

I would like to have a simpel "listener" on these two devices:
1) Monitor 2 (or N) devices
2.1) post them over the Ethernet to some UDP
-or-
2.2) alternatively e-mail them to predetermined account

Heck, the driver could even be some 10kB bootable thingy and work on a netbook (or lighter) as far as I'm concerned, but I think the easiest is to have it as an application on Windows and I can plug it behind my PC while I work.

I saw a tutorial when a dood was using it to port his "rocket" gadget to linux.

Thank you for your help, but this program updated in 2003 and it doesn't work very well. On my machine it is constantly refreshing and doesn't let me do anything. "Replug" says "failed to restart USB device" Sad

EDIT: I'm bookmarking a link http://www.beyondlogic.org/usb/usbdevdrvs.htm
I will post back any results (even negative).

EDIT2: New link, still no good news

I think there is a newer version of USB Snoop, version 0.22.

Link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop/

It is really dated tho. Circa 2002.

Fortunately it does come with source. http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop/files/SnoopyProSrc/SnoopyProSrc-0.22/SnoopyProSrc-0.22.zip/download
