Maybe the character height of the font with italic is not computed correctly and the next line painted overwrites the underscores.

The problem with the vertical selection and compiling is solved,
( http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=13311 )
and as Tomasz has said, not just highlighted, but selected. Wink

In addition, the selection mode, for each files, is saved in wink.in
and can be restored (if the flag "last files" is set).

Some tiny flaws are fixed too.
Wink has also been updated according the last version of IDE and compiler.

(Any user opinion and bug report are welcome)

- a bug when Wink is closed with the flag "last files" off. (a stupid code error)

- The last version 6.92(.00) is abnormally heavy because of bad placement of initialized and uninitialized variables.
6.92.01 fixes this problem by reducing the size of 11.5 kb.

edit
- a bug when Wink starts up and doesn't find the file key_W.wink
6.92.02 fixes this problem.

(In fact, I modified wink to reduce its size, result of that, I find some small errors Confused )

fixed (6.92.03)

ps: (only about the "Command Line Editor")
    "undo" works only with "clear"
    Would you like the "Undo" command also works in other cases ?

    Wink doesn't save command lines (for each opened files) in the wink.ini file.
    Do you want that Wink does that ?

Actualy i don't need any button there, just the OK button of course. I can clear it manually if i need. And Ctrl+Z works in text field by system default.

That would be cool.

oh.. i haven't noticed that Shocked

i was using Wink692_02.zip, not the 03. But i downloaded them (both) right now and i can see the colors, normaly. Just the letters are still being cropped.

Maybe i did some mess in my home version. idk. So ignore the coloring for awhile.

Teehee might be using one of the performance & visual-killers that Microsoft by default puts on Windows 7 for example.
I see no use in blurred text so I disable the feature where-ever I find it. I know IE also has sub-pixel rendering: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms749295.aspx#overview

Maybe ouadji can use a different default font or maybe Teehee can somehow configure system fonts being used in programs. I haven't looked into that, but usually Courier and the like should not be sub-pixel rendered (unless they emulate pixel-perfect system fonts with TrueType).

ouadji!!!! i found the color bug! i've renamed the .exe file to wink.exe (instead wink_6_92_03.exe) then it lost all the coloring Laughing

i just renamed the .ini to the same name then it worked. Wink

yes, ini and exe files must have the same name.

Teehee bug report: last letter of some words are being cropped.
It's not a bug, this is due to the way that works wink (and fasmw) .The DrawText function draws formatted text in the specified rectangle. Fasmw uses a rectangle with fixed size. So, depending on the style, italic or bold, and font, sometimes some pixels are outside the rectangle. For most fonts, this is not a problem ... but this happens sometimes.

Courier New / standard / 12, no problem.

Image

MSDN / DrawText function
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd162498%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

"Note that text with significant overhang may be clipped...."

Image

Another problem that sometimes occurs and is not a bug,
for a font, all sizes (of this font) don't have a set of italic (or bold) characters!
for example, with windows XP Pro, courier new/12 has no set of underscores characters !
... but courier new/11 has one.

same example that above, but size 11 instead of 12

It is a bug Smile

Compare both fasmw and wink (see image): fasmw is ok.

I repeat my question, font and size ?
Look in your ini file,
Quote:

[Font]
Face= ?
Height= ?
Width=0
Weight=400
Italic=0
CharSet=0

can you also give me this,
Quote:

U_dword= ?
I_dword= ?
B_dword= ?

thank you (or even easier, upload your ini file.)
