I want to know if it's possible to write a driver to lock my usb drive. So when ever I connect my USB drive, the program runs and displays a prompt for the password? Is that possible, if so, how do I?

Note that it was renamed, now is WDK (Windows Driver Kit).

Sounds like a pretty useless thing - you can only enforce this code on your own system, not when plugging the disk into another machine. What you really want is TrueCrypt.
