Currently in the process of upgrading to 1.68 from 1.66 (may 2006)... I used to use SYMBDUMP.TXT for light debugging as described in this thread:
http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=4645 Was very useful to quickly find a symbol address like a procedure, and copy-paste in Ollydbg. Is there a better way to do this in 1.68 now? 3 years behind and the search function hasn't been very kind. I tried recompiling FASMW 1.68 with the old SYMBDUMP.inc from that thread, and while it works fine, it produces a 116MB text file for my project. If I assemble it with 1.66 with the same SYMBDUMP.inc, it produces only an 18MB text file. Something happened there. 116MB is a little excessive, and it seems like a bad idea to blindingly combine source files 3 years apart like this. So... how symbol dump in 1.68? |
