The only REAL big problem I have with it is I like to be able to store stuff on an HDD, I live in the
country lots of power outs ect. I cant access the web during that time, but I can fire up my netbooks,

I also think having a safe place to store my files in case the server is down.

I mean, call me old school, I like the idea of cloud computing, but I also don't like it, I can see
maybe having a bootible browser in the bios so we dont have to wait, but as a main OS?

These cloud app will be able to run locally to (that what google is working hard get working), also the cloud to me could just as well be your locally network etc.

Most people i meet (me included), are lost without a internet connection.
But i do see where you are coming from, but some times it just to move on.
