Yeah, that got all 4 cores upto about 80C (usually 40-45). So run a few copies of it...

I had an athlon xp 1500+ I was testing and forgot to put the heat sink on (too used to intel?) - B A N G - found some speckles on the ceiling...
At least I got a new 1800+ out of it heh.

Get some CPU-intensive code, make 1000 threads to execute it and sit back...

Your purpose was not clear from the initial posting. It looks like you just wanted to do some sort of quick test and move on. But now it is clear what you really wanted.
