dlgtest.asm [30]:
cmp [wparam],BN_CLICKED shl 16 + IDTEST
error: undefined symbol 'IDTEST'.

which is pretty odd to me, considering that IDCANCEL is defined the same way and is referenced before IDTEST, though fasm doesn't have any problem with it.. i've received this error with fasm 1.69.04 and 1.68

IDCANCEL is defined in equates/user32.inc (included by win32a.inc)

But you have not defined the value of IDTEST anywhere in your code.

Add this line somewhere:
