yo fellaz!

i was just cleaning my dirty (optic) mouse, i did it before many times, but this time i didn't notice that the wire was "getting bitten" at assembly time, so when i was trying to use it, i got pwnd! x(. I reassembled it again correctly and it seems to be screwed...(RIP left button).

So i switched left <-> right button in control panel, but what i want is to switch left <-> middle button

Anyone knows how to do it?

I am looking in google of course but it could be cool if someone can save me time =D.

P.S. I don't think in buy another mouse just for a little issue, i can live just with middle and right buttons xD

That must suck. You could code up a hook that intercepts all middle-button click and replaces them with left clicks. And what's so bad about spending $10(Insert equivalent amount in your currency) on a cheap optical mouse? Why would take apart an optical mouse to clean it anyways? I know with my mechanical I need to pop the ball out every other day and scrape the crap out, but why clean an optical?

they need to be cleanned also 'cause "the grease" xD stuck the wheel, and left - right buttons, besides you can find "hair" inside xD.

I think that buy another one just for this is anti-ecologist =D, cause what i will do with the current mouse? it still works in 90% xD

I put a rag (like a piece of clothing) over the mouse and use it like that so I never have to clean it.

Same with the keyboard, except that I use some sort of plastic there (not sure how to say in english). Anyway, it feels weird at first, but after a day or two you get used to it, trust me. I've been using it like this for 3 years now, and didn't clean it once. Very Happy (but did replace faulty mice though).

I never used mouse hotkeys with AutoHotkey, but I use it for "advanced combos" keystrokes in Street Fighter 3 LOL Razz (when I play it in emulator)

I don't consider it cheating to not want to destroy my keyboard, or to buy a freaking joystick. It's not the controller that plays the game, it's your brain and tactics IMO. Very Happy
