I dunno. When people listen to me, they generally fall asleep readily. Perhaps that approach can assist you to fall asleep, even though we are separated by such a long distance. Though I typically attempt to write tersely as possible on this forum, I will, strictly for your benefit, sleepsleep, write something just a tad longer, in the hope that it may assist you in falling asleep.

Hmm.

Where to begin?
Once upon a time, ...

No, that's not going to work here, this forum has too many well educated folks who already know most of the fairy tales better than I do.

Umm. Oh, yes, here's a good topic, guaranteed to induce stupor:
cooking.

Yes. I made my first loaf of whole wheat bread last week.
Now the flavor was not terrible, but, the texture was too crumbly, probably because I inserted too much yogurt into the recipe.

Yeah, that's just not an adequate topic to induce sleep.

Oh, yes, for sure this topic will definitely work.

Operating systems.
Now, my theory is that Google's chrome is going to be a failure. I suggest this, because of the plan, to reserve its use, at present, for SMALL size computers, and only later, next year, tackle desktop computers.

This approach probably seems reasonable to most FASM forumers, but to me, it seems absurd.

I write this, yawn, because to me, ALL computers of 2009 are enormous compared with the cpu's and memories of bygone days. Yes, back in the 1960's when I first began thinking about computers, ...
zzz

In the last few months (3-4 months) I've been going to sleep at least at 3AM, sometimes even at 7AM... Confused

I seriously screwed up myself didn't I?

Wow Borsuc! I'm usually in bed by 11:30PM, although I end up laying there till about 1AM or so trying to fall asleep every night. My brain just never wants to shut down. Sad

Hmm so many programmers have insomnia. Seriously, I am a member of another community where at least half have it. They get like 2 hours sleep a night or something stupid. 8 hours for me Razz

Double-sleep couldn't sleep? If that is the case, then what hope is there for people without sleep in there nickname?

And I have just arrived into the same timezone as double-sleep, GMT+8, only 3 days ago. Here for another week, but the jet-lag never came this time. It seems that the 2.5 hour time shift from GMT+5.5 was not too much of a shift to mess with the circadian rhythm. Although I expect that next week when I head to GMT+0 that things may start to get foggy as the evening begins to settle. The hardest part is yet to come in 3 weeks when I head from GMT-5 to GMT+7 (12 hour shift) that will likely be a killer for the brain sleep control circuitry.

Work+play. I try my hardest to work as little as possible Razz The actual travelling part is no fun Sad Sleep cycles get screwed, family and friends become distant memories, bank accounts get depleted. I haven't been home in my own bed for nearly 3 months now, and still another month to go before I can get back there. Anyhow, time to sleep for me soon. I don't want to be posting at 4am in the morning Wink

I heard sleeping makes your brain very active -- I wonder if it actually defragments your memories Wink
