Hello,
I started developing my personal web site, but i want to do it without hosting, just using my own server machine connected to internet.

For first i made a SERVER Application:

1) work to a selected port (default port is 80)
2) scan the receved browser commands (HTTP)
3) automatically sends the requested HTML pages

This is a pre-relase (functionant) because i don't know the HTTP commands and also how browsers comunicate trought web servers.

Can someone help me?

This publics protocols (SMTP, POP, HTTP, FTP, etc) can be full examined reading the respective RFC documentation.

for http (Hypertext Transfer Protocol 1.1): http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616.html

There is one or two implementations in the forum also, perhaps you want to give them a look.
