Does it have to be in asm? There is a 'curses' library for UNIX. ncurses is the most modern reincarnation I think ('most' used in a very relative fashion. Its probably at least 15 years old)

The one I know was Turbo Vision from Borland. Apparently a port of it exist in http://tvision.sourceforge.net/ but haven't checked it myself (look at the bottom form the DOS version).

thaks but yes, unfortunately i need it in assembly but.. i could use the code here and translate it to assembly from the ideas i get off it, thanks
