Sometimes I left my laptop turned on about 2 or 3 days when downloading . Not continously though, usually hibernate it for about 1 hour, then use it again. And suddenly, it hanged up if i left it idle about 20 minutes.

This thing already happened several times.

Is that because my laptop is overheated?

I had the same thing but on my desktop, turned out the power source was faulty.

Maybe the battery or power source overheats or something and it gives wrong voltages like in my case.

Configure that thing that allows you to take a kernel crashdump when you press Ctrl ScrollLock ScrollLock
Share out the dump
I may take a look and give you a hint why its hung

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244139

Make sure to configure the dump file to at least "Kernel memory dump"
