I keep getting my software reconfiggured by a virus like web site.
Every day my home page is switch to the site owned by some low life.
Its http://yoursearch.cc and it has also put
http://board.flatassembler.net/search.ph?search_id....etc
on my home page list.
I think it's attached to the search on the Fasm message board index page
listed as "view posts since last visit"
What else is it doing to my computers software ?

PORN ?

I suspected it was the source, but how do you get rid of it ?
www.google.com search for some asm code, click a link,
and you're at a PORN SITE, then 15 pages show up on your bar,
your home page is altered, and c:\win98\regedit.exe
shows it's taken over.
But I keep getting the search engine used here listed as my new home page.
So there is a connection between here and the virus.html

Then if I wipe out my net files, history, & reconfiggure,
the log on here, and click "view posts since last visit"
I've been taken over again, and I've got another hour of work to
search in regedit.exe to remove the virus.

HELP?

It's kinda like M$ made their Win98 & internet explorer intentionally setup so
outsiders could control your computer for their needs.
I would immagine that Automatic M$ updates, takes full advantage of that feature also.

Disgusting isn't it........

Unfotunately very outdated links in this site: There is no FASM in the free assemblers section. Smile

I really like MenuetOS,
I kinda bumbled around in my attempt at it,
but it's open source & Fasm Smile
There is a great crew over there & they make steady progress at their OS.
When I get better at Fasm, I'm going back there for another go at it.
It seems to be exactly what I was looking for in an OS.
I kinda like the debugger running in window while you click on a link.
(hope I've got my facts straight)
A programmer should be able to cut off any attempt at infiltration
& discover the who,how,when, part,
so you can programm your reply to them Smile
Maybe a hotkey set ?
I would think that while they are attacking you, they are vulnerable.
You atleast have a direct line to them at that time.

PS, I was visiting hacking sites when I was getting a "search.php" take over.
I haven't had an attack on me since I quit searching the hack sites.
They may go by the policy " you can't cheat an honest man "
so they attack anyone who connects.
