Is there any beginners guide out there,
I am not looking for a complete assembly guide, just a intro to fasm syntax and how it works and some example programs with comments.

Have you checked the bottom of this page?
http://flatassembler.net/docs.php
http://flatassembler.net/examples.php

... or fasm.pdf or the examples directory in your fasm main directory.

I have, I just think that those isn't enough to cover even the basics of how fasm works.

Depending on your OS, download appropriate FASM package, having some examples, and look into appropriate subforum for more.
