I've downloaded MenuetOS and installed it on a diskette. I run it for 32M, even when I only have 24M and it works anyway, but there is a little problem. In fact, it works in VGA (but that doesn't look so good, of course). Anyway, I tried all the modes and I found out that 640x480, in the lowest color resolution seems to "internally" run OK, but to be exact, the video-page switching never occurs, so I've got all the graphics on the top of the screen.
My videocard is a Trident TGUI96xx, compatible with VESA 1.2, PCI. Fortunately, I know my videocard enough and I know how to change the videopage without accessing the VESA services. The Trident TGUI96xx recieves a value at port 3D8h from 0 to whatever, and that is enough, it switches to that videopage.
Is it possible that MenuetOS is fixed so that it works ok with my videocard? Confused If it is not necessary, what can I do? Thank you in advance.

The idea for Menuet Vesa 1.2 is that the user can write he's own bank swithing routine. See file Vesa12.inc and the function set_bank. Most cards have separate read and write banks, you need to set both.

Is that file in the diskette? If not, where can I find it?
One more thing: Will I find there the codes for other video boards?

The file is in a:\kernel.zip. Different drivers could be included with compiler options.
