I already do something crazy: I am defined ALL 1 mln. pages for 4GB memory... for now no any problems with video. Now, I can mark not present/used pages manually... |

Probably 2/4 MiB pages could make life easier. Why do you have to page-translate entire 4 GiB range? Don't forget to mark LFB as UC/USWC using MTRR, otherwise you will get strange results periodically. _________________ "Don't belong. Never join. Think for yourself. Peace." – Victor Stone. |

NEW SubQuestion: How to switch desktop-windows (as in X, for the keys F1=Console1, F2=Video...). may be only Idea??? |

2baldr: I can't use MTRR, becouse I want to my system work on -486 arch (386/486)... maybe only as a optional...
