this cite is full of how to's with vesa, i just found it.
i hope this helps with anything anyone wants to make with gui.
now we can go from cli to gui, alittle, i am against "to answer your ? i will give you a link" but i dont know how to put that all in my own words.

Why are you against it? If the links answer the Q then what is the harm?

Exactly, explaining things is time consuming to get right so the link is a good way to say what needs to said without spending excessive amounts of time saying the same thing.

that has nohing to do with this thread.
the question i wanted could of ben about 10 lines of explanation
the cite link is atleast around 900, if you want to say something, reply it to the threads i posted, i will see them, i sign in andcheck them both, but hey, your right. atleast i did not give you 4 cites, thats just a waste of time, i just gave the one with the most explanation, not ones off the top of my head that i "hope" answer you now and future questions. im against it because it wastes my time, i could just copy paste what you explained, and never ask the ? again. saves me time, and shorter and more detailed, i will know how it works.
no body has asked me a question on vesa, so i just through out a link, just in case, but when they do, i check the vesa cite and try to find what answers your question. and thats it, thats why you see the link up there. but if you have problems with that, i will arrange Wink and keep every one Smile

Unfortunately that link only deals with VESA version 1.2
Look around for vbe3.pdf if you need VESA information.

Exactly, if you want to master anything, use official reference, not some random tutorials. In this place it is especially true for intel / AMD manuals.

Especially false maybe ? Very Happy Latest SSSSSE5 and XXX64 Intel manuals won't reveal you how to access the LFB.
