Hiya,

First of all yes I googled it, and yes I searched this forum, and the WIndows API docs but couldn't find what i was looking for.> Sad

How do you convert 32 bit floats and (un)signed ints into char or widechar using the windows API? I am programming on Vista but I would ideally like my program to run on Windows 98 too (ie no msvcrt).

Sorry if this is a stupid question. It's just the API docs came up with a bunch of weird functions about 'coercing' (???) 'variants' (???!) into other variants and some msvcrt stuff.
