liu, if you are interested about PM coding, get 'proctected mode specification' (it is a refernce), maybe some 'operating system coding tutorial' and learn all theory. You will find all descriptions / strucutres (like GDT desc) there.

And don't forget to read something about 'Unreal Mode' or 'Flat Real Mode', it is interesting stuff (btw used by DOS FASM too)
