http://www.menuetos.net/082b.png Transparency needs to be enabled at Config.mnt and requires 512 MB of RAM. Transparency doesn't need a special graphics card, Vesa 2.0 card works just fine. |

just wondering: is there some support for HW accelerated 2D graphics in Menuet? Things like moving windows (rectangles) over screen, transparencdy, etc?

as long as i read the source of menuet, i never see any HW grafix tricks. all is make by x86 central processor.
but maybe i'm wrong... |

MenuetOS does not have HW accelerated 2D graphics. Vesa is used in real mode to set up the graphics mode and in protected mode to do the bank switching.
