Why is menuetOS geared twoards FAT32 systems? Is there any chance of ext2, ext3, reiserfs, or XFS support? It would seem to me that a free file system would be better suited to a free OS.

No one has written them yet. If you want your favorite file system implemented, write it. Personally, I'm more interested in a web browser than a choice of file systems.
