Does anyone know how to write drivers under menuetOS for specific hardware such as video/audio cards, modems, etc.???

At the documentation section you'll find "application programming" with an example 1F. It shows how to tie Irq's and ports to device access. Related system functions ( like 43 - device read/write ) are described at a:sysfuncs.txt.
