Tomasz released the version 1.67.23 yesterday without publishing an announcement on the forum so I'm doing it now in place of him.

The changelog says this
Quote:
version 1.67.23 (Sep 08, 2007)

[+] Added "static" keyword for the "public" directive in COFF format.

[-] Redirected error information into stderr.

So there is no new features in the ELF formatter Razz

Cheers

Tomasz added that 'static' keyword after breakfast the same day as the conference was held... pretty interesting seeing him working on fasm, mumbling about finding a free bit for the new feature :p

My comment was concerning to the Linux support thread at compiler internals forum. The problem however is that I just checked and seems that I removed the "will 1.67.23 support this?" (not exactly this phrase but similar)...

In other words, I'm more crazy (loco) than I thought Razz

Yes, you can see this work in progress in the photos I posted here (3rd page). See the photo 3rd from the top and 5th from the bottom. You'll notice a colorful notebook on the table in the photo 5th from the bottom. That notebook contains Tomasz's original scratch notes on the creation of fasm.
