If INSERT is enabled and you make a (non-vertical) selection (and copy) of text of which the first line is a blank line and the selection starts in the middle of this line, if you re-position the cursor at the same position as the start of your initial copy selection and paste over it, you will get an extra line in the result, i.e., you won't end up with the same text INSERTed over. If the first line of your initial selection was not a blank line or if you selected the entire blank line, this does not happen. Just a small inconsistency that's been bugging me, so to speak.
