Hi. At first forget about segment registers.
At second, read some simple demo/example programs. There are several in the FASMW package. The assembler is still the same. The main thing is to understand Windows API calls and functions. Download Windows API help files and use them when you write for Windows. Actually I spend about 20% of the time reading help 30% drinking coffe and 50% writing. Regards. |

i personally suggest you to start using 32bit registers, addressings etc. in real mode. then move to flat real mode, and then to windoze. This way takes more time, but you will understand it things better. And that is purpose (i think)
