Is it possible to provide a computer under linux
a internet connection via the serial port
as my example shows?

Example:

Server with DSL Connection (Linux) --> Serial Port -(null modem cable)-> Serial Port --> Client with (virtual) ip...

I know that works under win but does it work under linux , too?

A year ago, i have set up a dial in server here , that worked..
and now i need a serial-connection based internet connection
for my old terminal here..
