I compiled a console version of fasmpre 1.67.7 after examining the older fasmpre source code. Sometime I still found it very handy and intuitive to study the functionalities of the preprocessor and to verify what you assumed about it.

To compile, drop the extracted files into source\win32 and fasm it.
You'll need my comment macros included here in the zip. Wink

Description:
Download
Filename: fasmpre1.67.7.zip
Filesize: 3.66 KB
Downloaded: 369 Time(s)

GUI is not good idea...

Look:
http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?p=35198#35198

I think, these options will be very useful:
Code:
Flat Assembler, version 1.70
Usage:
-p [filename]: store result of preprocessing
-P [filename]: store result of preprocessing without empty lines and comments
