Code:
proc dumpIndices filehandle, mesh
     local thismesh:ID3DXMesh, addr:DWORD, indices:DWORD

     movm [thismesh], [mesh]
     invoke WriteString, [filehandle], <"Indices:",10,13>
     invoke WriteString, [filehandle], <"---------", 10, 13, 10, 13>

D3DCALL thismesh, LockIndexBuffer, addr indices ;<-- HERE

The problem occurs when trying to get the address to a local variable.

I don't know your D3DCALL macro, but perhaps it's using "push" instead of "pushd" for parameters?
