I've managed to get fasm for windows to recompile I think the problem is in the include directive. I had to change the include directories specified in the the fasmw.asm file to point to the original fasmw includes ( I use heavily added to and modified include and macro files). It compiled after I did this.
Still not sure what caused this crash though. |

Was it the last (6 Jan) update? Is it still happening when you revert to use the modified includes?

Yep, the Jan 6th. Well, I'll be damned, I can't reproduce the crash. It may have happened when my fasminc variable pointed to my modified includes, I changed to the original fasmw includes (full directory path) and it compiled fine. If you can't find the problem in about five minutes with the info that you have, then I would forget it.
