ok, i saw a post about BASS + FASM so i coded an BASS example using an external .XM file, now i wanna know how to do it internal ^^

ive done this is delphi by using the TResourceStream, but how would i go by doing something like this is ASM?

i know TResourceStream aint availible lol, but could someone gimme some example code or some directions on HOW!?

bass doesnt use any specific component to read from res, i just need a pointer to the resource.

also, how do i pack files into the .exe?

you can use a tool like PEBundle to add DLLs to EXEs

sorry if i was inacurrate in what i wanted to do, i need to know how to get POINTERS of RESOURCES in order to load .XM files from resource of the file.

bass has an function called BASS_MUSICLOAD which allows it to read directly from resources if you give it a pointer to the file.

this is what im looking for, if anyone got some info i would be greatful.

just use the file directive and you can load it from memory
