Hi everyone,
As the maker of the conversion of the examples in the book "Windows Game programing for Dummies", I now bring you Direct3D examples from the book "Focus on 2D in Direct3D"! In this book we learn how to make Direct3D work in 2D for our games. Of course, to get the most out of these examples it would be helpful to have the book also, but this is not required to learn from these examples, but is a PLUS. I will also do a better job with the documentation for the fasmd2d.dll library, just in case you would like to use it in your own programs. Also, in the INCLUDE\DXINC directory you can find various DirectX and Windows includes if you need them. One special note, [Chapter 2 , Example 4] runs fine when compiled and run from the fasmw editor, but menus are trashed when you double click the executable. This problem only seems to happen on my WindowsXP(SP2) system. Let me know if you have any problems or questions. MADMATT You can download the file at the same place you got the 'Windows game programming for dummies' Examples: FILNAME : FasmW - Direct 3D R1.rar FTP> ftp://68.225.35.57/ HTTP> http://www.asmdemon.com/ |
