I have written an assembler for the Motorola's MC145000B microcontroller. It comes with a pseudo-emulator (because it is not a fill emulator) that allows you to test your program on your PC without moving it into a MC145000B-based chipset. The assembler uses an unusual syntax, where:
- every mnemonic have to be prefixed with an underscore and written using lowercase (_rtn for example), direct stacking (_rtn_xnor) is not allowed, at least one separator character is required (_rtn _xnor)
- everything that is not a mnemonic is ignored as a comment
- text and mnemonics between hash and newline are also ignored
- in case of unknown mnemonic, assembly is not stopped, a message is printed
What you think about it?
