Hi,
I hit a wall when trying to suck values out of registry. I could even print all the folders under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, but that doesn't satisfy me as I want all the names behind GUIDs and to do that I need to find which of them have DisplayName named string inside. I tryed RegEnumValue, but no success. Query is better because I can give it a name otherwise I'd have to search it myself.

I have seen this kind of mess (inconsistency?) before and I suspect that this is one of those bugs again where manuals state other....
...or did I really do some stupid mistake like passing value as pointer or vice versa.
Any hint closer to the solution is welcome - 66 lines of code was long enought to include as file AND this way it is compilable instant after downloading Smile

Description: Intalled programs finder with registry.
Download
Filename: RegFind.asm
Filesize: 1.92 KB
Downloaded: 236 Time(s)
