In Visual Studio it is usually a TAB character.

Character code is 9. Plus <> syntax for passing comma-separated list as a single item to a macro. AFAIR.

If your editor isn't trying to be too clever by harmonising everything or something, then you can just put in the tab character directly.

I can't post it to this board because it replaces tabs with spaces, but something like this:

It works better if your editor will display the tab character (usually with an arrow) instead of just showing whitespace.

I use an editor with no tabs (my IDE I coded).
I did not know you could use brackets like that: <......>.
