as the title say im looking for a tiny os that is capable of locating and writing to a usb 2.0

the usb have the write protect bit set on it, what is worse is there are damaged sectors/clusters.

so windows will refuse to format it because of this bit, and cant find a device driver that can identify usb to write and fill it with 00h's.

if you know an os that can do that for me, then please share.

There are quite a few Linux Live OSes around.

But who controls the write protect bit? Older USB sticks had a manual switch. There was no way to override that from software.

When I type "tiny linux" into my search engine the first hit is:
http://www.tinycorelinux.net/

You might need to try a few to see which one works with your hardware.
