I have the Fasm for Windows, and in the documentation it said to try typing in db 97 in the text editor, so I did. Then I saved it called example.asm.

Then it said to call it from DOS with the command fasm example.asm example.txt to see how it worked, and to check the new file.

So I tried that, and it said error: file not found.

The location of everything is within the Windows folder to make it easy to call it from the command line.

Why isn't this working?

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind. In the documentation, it didn't show "s, so I didn't put them in, but I thought of that, and tried enclosing the filenames within " and it worked.

Thanks anyway
