Have you tried self-hosting this version?

Interesting variant, I see that you even made macros to generate relocatable "Adam" format, great job. But it works terribly slow on my old DOS machine (with Pentium 60 MHz processor). I have to wait a few seconds just to get the usage information.

I usually use HXLdr32 to run fasmg under DOS, since it runs console Win32 applications well enough. In this variant it runs smoothly on the same machine.

I was able to self-assemble fasmg on my old machine with only 24 MB of RAM (though perhaps even 16 MB would suffice) using the lowmem branch (the regular version runs out of memory fast). At least this is one thing that the branch is useful for, though this is more of a curiosity: self-hosting takes around 10 minutes there.

On my computer (3.6 GHz) the self-assembly lasts 5 seconds, as similarly as original Win version with the use HX dos extender.
