Know any good image viewer? I'm looking for something super small, super fast, works on gdi, single exe, and with source code I can understand.

Currently I'm using FastStone Image Viewer, but I found a set of tga files it can't read. It's also closed source.

If you know a text editor and hex editor like that too, please tell me. I'm currently using xvi32 for hex, and emacs for text (not lightweight, but at least I can hack it).

I'll probably write one, eventually.

IrfanView? Though it's not one exe.

For Hex: https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ (it even has memory/disk editing capabilities; works on files of any size and only writes the modified parts, great even for huge files)

IrfanView works nicely, thanks!

I'll use it for tga, and FastStone for everything else.

I also recommend Total Commander as file manager, with Imagine as an internal image viewing plug-in. It is similar in breadth of file support as IrfanView, though not as full-featured in editing aspects.

Total Commander, big +1 from me. Wouldn't be able to use the PC without it. Can't imagine people who do Wink (yes, even on Linux, I use it with Wine)

I'm using the default windows file manager. It's kinda ok if you use autohotkey and registry edit on it. Can't live without thumbnails.
