Im trying to put block comments into FASMW, but it cant find win32a.inc (and neither can i!) where can i find it? or am i doing something wrong?

ps attached is my modified preproce.inc file - but watch out, if you dont close the block comment it will probably loop forever!!
also, it dont understand why the code goes back to lf_character or cr_character instead of just going to line_end (id have a better idea if there were comments!)

search for 'jim' to find the parts that i've added/marked (i use search since there isnt a way to bookmark lines)

Jim.

Did you set up the variables in fasm.ini?

Just put the lines below to the end of your fasmw.ini file:
Code:
[Environment]
Fasminc=c:\Fasmw\include

Thats me got past the win32a bit, thanks Smile

Looks like block comments might be a bit harder than i previously thought... im getting illegal instruction warnings Sad I also need the AsmEdit thing updated so that it colours things correctly (i dont know if this will happen when preproce code is changed or if it is seperate - but i expect its seperate)
As im trying to forge ahead with some other stuff, ill have to leave it for just now, but hopefully ill get back to it soon - block comments would make my debugging quicker Smile

Jim.

That's the problem I thought about too, block comments are hard to implement, so I better keep my fingers away from it right now
