hi all i think menuetos needs some modification 1- it needs a stronger filesystem rather than fat16 2- it needs to be able to be installed on hd rather than fd 3- it needs a bootloader u can use an opensource loader like lilo with menuetos 4- it needs to have a better look file explorer 5- you can use wine source code to create an emulator to menuetos so that it will be able to run win32 apps see www.reactos.org for more information _________________ Maslan I'm searching for perfection so, even if u need portability u 've to use Assembly --- http://www.maslanlab.org --- http://libosdk.berlios.de http://maslanedit.sf.net http://maslancms.sf.net |

i think menuetos should use ext3 or even ext2 or any journalised FS

What about JFS? There were test carried out comparing the filing system and JFS came out the best for most applications. Ext 3 not so good. What about OpenBeFS?

In that case, i think we should stick strictly to FAT32
Anyways, with all of these wishes..... people should produce some code and present it for testing instead of just begging and hoping someone else will do it for ya. |
