I'm not aware of any textbooks on MenuetOS, or FASM for OS development.
That said, I'd probably recommend "Operating Systems Design and Implementation" by Andrew Tanenbaum.

While most OS textbooks are a bit heavier on algorithm/theory, Tanenbaum's is pretty balanced on theory vs practical issues. It's basically the documentation of MINIX OS itself Smile

If someone wants to write a book about Menuet then go for it Smile However, the system calls and examples should already give a clear image about how the system works, like events, GUI, syscall parameters, etc..

hi TmX

This is the book I was looking for!
But there is no ideal in the use of assembly to write the operating system.

Hi kerr,

Actually there's one, and I forget it. Of course not using FASM, though.
FYSOS: The System Core.

Don't forget to check the rest of the series as well Smile
