It seems someone steal flat assembler and says "It's my program called Fast-Assembler".

Look at this:
https://github.com/Mihip/Fast-Assembler
it's "MIT licensed, yay"

Files are coded in some weird coding. As author site (http://wctsite.tk/) says,
A - 000
B - 001
C - 010
D - 011
E - 100
F - 101
G - 110
O - 111.

If you'll use author's console wct editor (http://wctsite.tk/WctEditor.exe) you may find that github file will compiles onto something executable, that says:

Quote:
Fast assembler, version 1.50.50
Usage: fasm <source> [output]

If you'll play with this binary, you'll eventually notice that this thing is fasm-compatible. I assume it may conatin some (ALL) code of flat assembler in it.

I think it's copyleft violation. Sad

P.S. Compiled file FastAsm.exe: https://yadi.sk/d/BYAjpn8SeKNpS

I initially did not treat this seriously, but since it appears that this "product" may get more recognition that I anticipated, I decided to take some steps. I analyzed the executed code to confirm that it is derived from flat assembler and notified the author about the license violations. I hope that he will respond appropriately.

Yes. It is the same person, MIHIP. And it appears that MIHIP doesn't write any code for themselves. Instead manipulating others into writing everything.

My post number 12345. Sorry for being such a verbose chatterbox

In fact, I actually write code for myself, I returned to home and in front of me is my computer.
Here is a sample code Wct:

Code:
CFG ; start: scasb
DCG ; salc
AEEAFF ; and al,'\'-'/'
AAEAFO ; add al,'/'
DBFAFB ; int 29h
DFDDGG ; jmp start

Wink

Considering his last post, I strongly doubt.

The changes you made to the license are not enough. You can't claim copyright on code you didn't wrote yourself. What is the code you wrote? Changing the strings with Flat Assembler and authors names? The only possible option is to return the original FASM license and not forget to change the text inside the code back to what it was.

Sorry if I am budging uninvited. But I have a great idea for you MIHIP. You should do the same with the Bible, apply to it the WTC thingy, and then you can be Jesus Christ Asm Star!

It will be soooo cool!
