I've been using Linksys WRT54G2 for almost 6 years, and never had any problem, at least until today.

The router LEDs blinks really fast, even if I unplug the ethernet cable from it. Resetting the router doesn't affect anything.

And Windows cannot find my access point.

Is this a sign that my router is broken?

It could be broken...

I presume you've already tried unplugging it from the power source.

You said you tried resetting it. How long are you holding the reset button. Some routers take 10 seconds. Some up to 30.

Can you ping its address (usually something like 192.168.1.1)? Can you open its configuration page in a browser (usually something like http://192.168.1.1/)?

Also are you sure your external connection works fine? Maybe try to connect a PC directly to your modem through a network or USB cable.
