why the newer fasm version produce the larger exec than fasm1.50 and why the latest 1.56 is slower than the oldest 1.50?

which version do you prefer, and why?

nine times out of ten it will be the resource that has gotten bigger due to following a standard more closely. The IAT is now generated also, which wasn't the case in fasm 1.50.
