.... the driver for the ac97 works on all intel made chips (eg: ICH0, ICH1, ICH2, ICH3, ICH4 ) and some others

Please can you make this driver available for others.

May be incomplete ...

isn't the ac97-type card compatible with adlib/soundblaster at all?
becasue it exists lots of old info on how to program for adlib/soundblaster..

Hi ASHELY4!!

I tested the cd-player and found out that it worked only on 1 pc out of 3. You have hardcoded IDE routines to use port 0x170 and master device?? I have diffenrent setups in every pc I own concerning cd-drives.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to test soundcard routines because I don't have those in question.
