Hmm, interesting I missed your other posts, about the BSOD, try enabling PAE paging and the NX bit. To do this:

Right click on the windows 8 VM on the left, click "Settings", a window will open, select system on the left, then click the processor tab. Check "Enable PAE/NX", then click OK.

Could it be because my computer does not support Hardware Acceleration?

Observation: Every new OS version have bigger icons and fonts.
Conclusion: The developers grown old and have eyesight problems.

Well, I wrote "OS" because I have such observations for some Linux distributions as well.

Windows 8 is amazing! I'm sold! I can by default connect my xbox controller to it and play games off of the live store without mods! It also supports linking it to my xbox live and playing multiplayer on microsoft live with other people that have the same game! This is truly a gaming enhancement for windows! No need for that lousy STEAM software that is a lousy excuse for a game store!

Please try again with PS3.
I am not surpised that there is a game console support in MS new OS for MS own game console.
But I am a bit surprised that it works from beginning.

Hell no, I give up on PS3, I used to hate the xbox until MS released xbox 360 S model (the new one with wifi).

Now the only advantage to the PS3 is three things:

1) Free online gameplay
2) better graffics by like 10 - 20%, most games really waste the PS3's power even though it has much more than the xbox!
3) You don't need a signed hard drive in order for it to work.

The software on the PS3 is lousy. the interface is lousy, it has close to no multitasking (On the XBOX I can play my music, run background downloads, and play on xbox live all at the same time, the PS3 cannot do this.)

The only playstation exclusive I even like is little big planet, which is for the vita to, I do plan on getting the vita... As long as M$ doesn't catch my attention with something better...

And when it comes to developing indie games, the PS3 has no support for this!!! The xbox, all I need is the SDK and to pay $99 dollars per year, and I can make, and sell games on the xbox live arcade... If you want to do this for the PS3, good luck, you have to install custom firmware to do this, and risk getting your counsel banned from the PSN!

The xbox sucks, yes, but the PS3 is not any better.
