because when i code, what i do is simple, i code, test, code, test, code, test... etc.

and when i have something like working code, i continue modifications.
but sometimes, i make bad modifications, something like a bad instant idea that should be cancelled with ctrl+z.

wha appears now when ctrl+z is that it will undo even the modifications made before the last run. and it is a little disturbing to don't be able to stop ctrl+z at the exact step that was before run.

then, at least, it can be interresting to have a command to clear the undo buffer, or a way to stop ctrl+z typematic at the exact last run point.
