Apparently, limit of 75k requests per day hinders performance of our loved board. How can I help?

Stop making those 74999 requests each hour waiting for Mr. Hyde to post.

BTW: I thought someone said it was per hour?

2010-10-28 seems to be even JD after 12:00 GMT, so why should I? You're already here. Wink

Tomasz Grysztar,

Can you post the restrictions they impose on this site? I'm not fluent with PHP yet, but this is recoverable, in a way Wink.

I've received the error message twice yesterday, once as it was posted in the other post, and the other showing a different query involving my session ID, so I think the limit is not per day. Also, take in mind it is not 75,000 hits but SQL queries, and the software probably makes several queries to show you a single page.

Anyway, I think the problem is either, spiders indexing the forum or people who are still on their quest of finding a life.

Anyway, popularity of the site going to kill its usability. One way to mangle it is to reduce number of SQL queries altogether, another is to sponsor it somehow.
