Hi,

I really like FASM, but unfortunately it is not possible to close a document with STRG+W. I would be much more gladdened (if possible Very Happy), if you could add it.

keenin.

Hi.
Maybe you mean: CTRL+W?
Actually you can close "document" (source file) using ESC.

Regards

Yeah, I meant CTRL (STRG is german Embarassed).
Thanks a lot (I did not know of ESC), but it would be easier to use os-wide shortcuts (all of the programs I know use CTRL+W), wouldn't it?

Of course, ESC suffices.

Actually most of programs I know, uses CTRL+F4 to close current document (ALT+F4) to close the program. But this is similar of the old joke about programs:

There are 3 types of programs, they give following messages:

1'st type: "Press ESC for quit"
2'nd type: "Press Alt+X for quit"
3'th type: "Press Alt+F4 for quit"

Very Happy

Yeah, seems to be true.

At least I know how to close the document without using that mouse of mine. Wink

keenin,
modify the source, add your shortcuts and recompile it. This is the scope of the source, to allow you to personalize it all. And you will get a lot of satisfaction from doing that.
